I finally made it! I’ve lost 70 POUNDS! Actually, 71.4.
For the first time in 10 years, I weigh less than 200 pounds!
This afternoon, I’m going shopping for a new outfit!
What’s the magic that made it happen? Well, I haven’t exercised since Monday. I haven’t had any beer or wine since last Saturday. I’ve been drinking hot tea and I’ve been in bed by 8:30 most nights this week. Yeah, I’ve been sick :(.
That’s okay. This was a really important goal. Now that I’ve reached it (even if it’s because I’ve been ill), I never, EVER, want to top 200 pounds again. When I’m feeling better, I’ll continue to cut down on the bevies, go to sleep earlier and have more tea.
Our first 5k of the year is next weekend and the whole family is participating! I can’t wait. Before I developed this lovely ear & sinus infection, I began my squats workout again to get my legs and core in shape. I was doing well; up to 4 sets of 10 with 90 seconds of low-impact cardio in between. Hopefully, by Monday, I’ll feel well enough to pick it back up.
Right now, though, it’s time to take my anti-biotic.
